| Watch Me Disappear
After building a solid fanbase and critical acclaim with their first two albums, 'Sunset Studies' and 'Strange Bird', success came in a big way for Augie March with their third album. 'Moo, You Bloody Choir' won the 2007 Australian Music Prize, was nominated for 7 ARIA awards and achieved platinum sales. The single 'One Crowded Hour' took out the coveted top spot on Triple J's Hottest 100 countdown and singer Glenn Richards won two APRA awards. Now comes Augie March's next masterpiece, 'Watch Me Disappear', recorded at Neil Finn's Roundhead studios in New Zealand and produced by Joe Chiccarelli (The White Stripes, My Morning Jacket, The Shins). |
| Pennywhistle The single of 'Pennywhistle' is out now. It includes the album title track 'Watch Me Disappear', and a non-album track named 'Toorak Fires'. The 'Pennywhistle' video will be on television and computer screens in the next week. The song itself is now being played on a shipload of radio stations across the continent - listen out for it. Hello again, Thanks to everyone that came along to the shows on this Australian tour so far. Sydney was sold out and a great big epic of a gig. Perth too was unreal in the regal ol' Regal Theatre, on a weird day of torrential rain - an almost-forgotten experience for Victorians. Full Story »
